There are a few steps you can take to help ensure a positive outcome in your case.

• Gather and preserve your records. Organize any relevant documents and keep them at hand.
• Do not hold anything back when you meet me. If there is a problem, I can deal with it a lot better if I know about it beforehand, than if I am surprised by it later. Keep in mind that whatever you tell me as your attorney is privileged information.
• In criminal defense and personal injury cases, do not talk to any authorities or make any statements before talking to me first. You may be giving away more than you think.
• Do not sign anything without consulting me first.
